Use conversation statuses and follow-ups

Keep active work, pending customer responses, follow-ups, and resolved conversations distinct.

Steps

  1. Leave a conversation active while a teammate action is still required.
  2. Set a follow-up when the next action has a specific time.
  3. Close the conversation only when no further teammate action is expected.
  4. Reopen or mark unread when new information requires review.

Important notes

  • Closing a conversation preserves its timeline and reporting history.

If you still need help

Search this Help Center using the exact feature or visible error. If the issue continues, use Call TidyAnswer support from the Help Center navigation. Include any public reference and the approximate timestamp, but never include passwords, access tokens, provider credentials, or raw webhook payloads.
