Configure a custom Help Center domain

Serve a portal from a branded hostname while preserving its canonical Nimbus site.

Steps

  1. Choose a hostname dedicated to the intended Help Center.
  2. Add it to portal settings and note the displayed CNAME target or managed-hostname status.
  3. Complete DNS and certificate validation through the domain owner or managed provisioning flow.
  4. Refresh status, publish, and verify HTTPS, redirects, sitemap, robots, and article URLs.

Troubleshooting

  • Do not point two Help Centers at the same hostname. Domain ownership mappings fail closed on conflicts.

If you still need help

Search this Help Center using the exact feature or visible error. If the issue continues, use Call TidyAnswer support from the Help Center navigation. Include any public reference and the approximate timestamp, but never include passwords, access tokens, provider credentials, or raw webhook payloads.
